    Position Summary

    This is a 2nd shift Batcher Position and is based in Corsicana, Texas (50 miles outside of the DFW Metroplex).   


    Starting rate $18.21 plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift.  * Medical, Dental Vision benefits effective first day of hire.


    The Batcher is familiar with all tanks’ piping and valve arrangement and is responsible to open/close/energize the appropriate valves and pumps for accurate material transfer.  Understands how to contain and address spills and unauthorized chemical releases to prevent violation of the plant’s operating permit.  During the formulation process, the batcher records, on a material requisition site, the weight of chemicals used.


    The responsibilities are the role include:

    • The unload of chemicals from the rail-cars into the bulk storage tanks and daily sanitation and 5S of the rail-car unload area.
    • The unload of tanker trucks of chemicals into the bulk storage tanks, to the daily sanitation and 5S of the build storage tanker and containment area.
    • Chemical tote hookup/unhook in the chemical storage area and daily sanitation of 5S of the area.
    • Daily monitoring and documentation of the control points for the production area.
    • Responsible to function as a "floater" as needed for break relief and absence as well as for production demands as deemed necessary by supervisor.
    • Weekly inventory of miscellaneous items for productions such as tape, gloves, labels, dust masks, safety glasses as required by materials planner.
    • Aggressively helps lead improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Capability, and productivity through daily problem solving and also through participation on the shift’s continuous improvement team.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Qualified candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    MEO physical required every two years.
