The Pricing Analyst has responsibility for developing pricing strategy through analysis of current pricing trends, utilization of competitive price scraping, pricing tests and elasticity models. Additionally, they will be solely responsible for managing 70+ tire price books and 100+ service pricing books which link directly with the POS systems of all 2,200 BSRO locations. Finally, they will be expected to analyze the effectiveness of pricing changes made and make recommendations when necessary.
Develop pricing strategies on branded and non-branded tire patterns and on all services offered at BSRO
Analyze the price elasticities and develop recommendations for price positioning in the market
Collaborate with merchandising team on price change recommendations and implement changes across all price changes
Collaborate with analytics team to better understand cross-elasticities between tire and service and work cross-functionally with all teams to maximize enterprise profitability
Create reporting to better understand the impact of price changes
Responsible for assisting to deliver profit goals
Subject matter expert in BSRO pricing and POS systems
6+ years of pricing analysis experience in retail or manufacturing Experienced in Microsoft
Office suite, especially Excel and preferably Access Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred In-
depth understanding of price elasticity logic and analysis
